Does he flirt with you?
If he's working to keep your attention that is a good sign. Is he playful around you or always very serious? Does he take opportunities to touch you by either taking your hand or putting his arm around you? Does he go out of his way to spend time with you?

When a guy is serious about pursuing you and ultimately making you his girlfriend, he'll find out everything he can about you. Not only will he ask you a ton of questions, but he'll start asking other people about you as well.
